Songs & Practice — Module 3 Add-On

Module 3 is the most conceptually dense block in the course — four lessons introducing hand alternation, all four rhythm values, the C-D-E neighborhood, and the complete musical alphabet. The songs within lessons are teaching tools; students need dedicated play-along time to truly own this material before progressing.

Practice anywhere. Choose the mode that fits where you are right now:

The Six Activities
  • Where is D? — Tap the correct key on the keyboard to find D and its neighbors
  • Mary Had a Little Lamb — Play-along in the C-D-E neighborhood with notation and backing track
  • Relay Race Review — Hands alternating across the keyboard with RH/LH labels
  • Alphabet Climb — Ascending and descending through all seven note names (A–G)
  • Rhythm Challenge — Read and play patterns using all four rhythm values
  • Note Sprint — 30-second speed challenge to find notes as fast as you can

Watch the short intro video above, then choose your practice mode below. Each activity reinforces a different skill from Module 3.

👨‍👩‍👧 Parent Tip

Module 3 covers the most ground — so this Add-On is especially important. Come back to it multiple times during the week. The Where is D? game and Note Sprint are great for quick 2-minute practice sessions. If your child can play Mary Had a Little Lamb confidently and find all seven note names, they’re ready for Module 4.
